Pampanga gov files plunder raps vs Lapids

by DailyManila on June 1, 2009

We should have more politicians like Gov. Ed Panlilio and less of the trapos like the Lapids (not the chicharon brand). In less than 2 years, the provincial government under Panlilio was able to collect more than P397.608 million quarry taxes and fees vs. the P382.560 million collected in five and a half years of the Lapid administration. Everyone’s now asking–where’s the missing P568 million that’s supposed to have been collected during the Lapid administration?

Pampanga Governor Ed Panlilio filed a plunder complaint against Senator Lito Lapid, his son former Pampanga governor Mark Lapid, and three others in connection with P568 million in missing quarry taxes and fees. (source: Inquirer.net)
