Mar Roxas slammed ‘Palace attack dogs’ for turning on the media over reports on PGMA’s expensive dinners in the U.S. Earlier on, Anthony Golez, deputy spokesperson of Ms Arroyo slammed the media for focusing their attention on how the President is spending billions of taxpayers’ money on “appropriately ceremonious conduct of her official trip abroad” instead of the accomplishments she has made using the taxpayers’ money.
“They were representing the country in a foreign land. They have put the country to shame. These reports came out in the American media. While Filipinos suffer back home, there they were burning money on expensive dinners,” Sen. Roxas said in the article. (Source: Inquirer.net)
