The next-generation iPhone will have a 'sensitive back' similar to the Magic Mouse

The next generation iPhone may feature a touch-sensitive casing and a more advance camera according to Goldman Sachs Group Inc. analyst Robert Chen in an interview. The new device might have a casing that is similar to that used for Apple’s touch-panel Magic Mouse, Chen said.

The new iPhone will be packed with “a lot of innovation, not just on the hardware, but also on the software of the new iPhone,” Chen adds. In contrast with the latest smart phones entering the market with 5 megapixel cameras, the iPhone 3GS’ camera is only 3 megapixels. It also rumored that the next generation iPhone might sport a LED flash, to assist in low-light situations, as mentioned in this story. However, consumers might have to wait until June or July for the next generation iPhone according to Chen. However, Chen did not disclose who the source of the information is.
