My mundane day was energized after I read an email from a staff of Alltop.com, the web’s “online magazine rack,” informing me that DailyManila.com was approved for listing! What could be more ecstatic than that?!
A few weeks since I submitted (and completely forgetting about it) the request to be included in http://philippines.alltop.com/, alongside popular websites like Inquirer.net, Sun.Star, Philippine Entertainment Portal or PEP, GMA News TV and blogs like Yuga’s gadget review space YugaTech, Marketman’s culinary adventure in Market Manila, and Anton Diaz’s excellent travel resource Our Awesome Planet, I was utterly surprised to be included among the best.

You can think of Alltop as the “online magazine rack” of the web. They have subscribed to thousands of sources to provide “aggregation without aggravation.” To be clear, Alltop pages are starting points—they are not destinations per se.
